We are proud to finally announce that we are no longer members of the Church of Scientology. Although we have each had immense gains from the tech and continue to support its application, we can no longer support a management that has become abusive.
Richard and I had dedicated our lives to the church and were betrayed on many levels. I was raised in Scientology, did the Comm Course at age 9 and started academy training at age 12. Richard joined staff at Seattle Fdn and stayed on for 13 years.
In spite of the many gains we got from the tech, our years of participation left us in overwhelming debt, poor case shape and treated like ethics bait. Richard has been posting under the name Joe Doakes. I’ve posted under the pseudonym ClearlyMistreated and I believe my letter to the C/S below explains the name well. After reading this you’ll see why we were ready to open our eyes when we heard about The Truth Rundown in July 2009.

Dear AOLA C/S, 7/3/06
I am just writing to let you know what I think is wrong with my case and why I won’t be coming back. After 10 long years of trying to handle my case, I still must conclude that I am Clear. Nothing else explains everything as well as this does.
Although I am not well trained in tech, I am familiar with the LRH tech on going back to just before the point of having trouble and that is where something was wrong. The point where I was doing exceedingly well and winning was when I originally thought I was Clear.
I was getting my auditing at Celebrity Centre Int and had gotten into debt about $60,000 to do my KTL, grades and NED to the point where I thought I was Clear. At this point I didn’t care about the debt. I was on top of the world. Everything had changed. I had never been so happy.
Unfortunately this only lasted for one day because the very next day they told me I wasn’t Clear. I had to borrow another $40,000 or so to audit repair and the rest of my NED because I was determined to either convince them that I was Clear or to actually go Clear.
I left CCI on the bottom of the world. I was sad and in debt way over my head.
I have been struggling for the 10 years since then. I’ve barely been able to survive financially. Mentally I’ve been in a confusion. It is something that I’ve literally thought about every day since then, at least a little bit. It has really drained me and made it difficult for me to enjoy life. What seemed like a dream come true turned into a nightmare that I can’t wake up from.
I have visited different orgs at least 6 times in the last 10 years in attempts to resolve the matter. Nothing has ever been resolved, I just leave in more confusion and debt. I come away with new “whys” but no org has yet been successful in convincing me that I’m not Clear. Some have come pretty close, but never 100% permanently.
I don’t really care if you agree with me or not. I’m not writing this to convince you. I’m just writing it to explain what I think and why I won’t be coming back anytime soon.
You can write me off as having O/Ws or being out-ethics, I know I have all the “symptoms.” But I’m not going to buy that. I know that is not my “why” and I find it annoying to have that pushed on me. It just confuses and depresses me more.
I know it’s sad, but I’ve given up on doing the Bridge for now. I have to get on with my life. I had one child but I’ve put off having any more because I wanted to get up the Bridge. Now it’s time to put that dream on hold. I’ll come back some day in about 20 years when my children are grown and I’ll have more than enough time and money to dedicate to doing the alternate route.
Until then you can just stick this letter on the top of my folder and send it to deep storage. The only thing I can do now is try and forget about it all and hope it will destimulate so I can live at least a little bit happily ever after. Please don’t try to call me any more because that only restimulates it all.
Sincerely,
Vicki Palmer

I have felt such relief since having the correct SP indicated: DM.
Here’s a message directly to you, David Miscavige: I want my folders back and I want my brother back! Until then you can consider me “Theta the Problem.”

“You’ve Got Mail”
We believe that the suppressive element in the church can be dissolved if enough people stand up and deliver the truth to the Scientology public. It is the public that empower and fund the suppression. The people with the best chance of communicating the truth are us—former and independent Scientologists.
After a year of internet research, Richard and I were certain that the existing church was corrupt to the core and couldn’t be fixed from the inside. Yet we felt the need to do something. After months of evaluating the situation and potential solutions we came up with our master plan. We wrote and mailed out our own “SP Declare” to the Seattle field! We followed up the mailing a few days later with an email to the Seattle field to drive them to our website www.ethicsorders.org. Needless to say, this lit a powder keg in Seattle!
Scientologists opened their mailboxes to see a white envelope with an obviously goldenrod paper inside. The return address had a note above it that said “Seattle E/O.” All the feedback we’ve received indicates that people feel compelled to open these letters and read them in their entirety.
Although most of the direct comm we’ve received from current church members is negative, it represents very few people. The vast silence speaks volumes.
Our website stats were “straight up and vertical” for the first week with each visitor spending an average of eight minutes viewing six pages on our website before clicking off.
The plan was calculated to use a known comm line to deliver our message. We hoped to sidestep the mental blocks Scientologists have that keep them from looking—at least long enough to get them to ask their own questions. We knew these triggers too well, having been on that side ourselves. We used the local recognition that Tony, Marie-Joe, Bert, Lynne and the rest of us had. We hoped that local Scientologists would be interested in reading about someone they recognized, just like Richard and I had listened to Marty’s testimony because we recognized him.
Besides, no Scientologist can resist reading a goldenrod! The Church is left defenseless since they refuse to distribute any actual declares, in direct violation of LRH policy. They are defenseless because there is no defense against the truth.
The church thinks they can go around declaring people and hoping they’ll disappear. What they’re really doing is creating a mystery in the minds of all those that knew them. A vacuum waiting to be filled. They can continue to disconnect, but we will continue to communicate. Communication, not disconnection, is the universal solvent.
OEC Vol 3, p. 315: Purpose of the Reserved Payment Account: To prevent a false idea of the financial position of the org from occurring by providing a place where money awaiting disbursement can be placed before it is actually paid out, thus removing it from the general accounts and estimates of financial position of the org.
OEC Vol 3, p. 316: Savings: When the org desires to buy something big or expensive, it should not use time payments, hire, purchase or mortgages. It should start putting money into the Reserved Payment Account and, when the full sum is there, buy the item for cash, using the fact to obtain a good, big discount. While the Building Fund on building purchases is also intended to help buy buildings outright, there is nothing wrong with also depositing available amounts of the disbursement sum in the Reserved Payment Account to help out.
Additionally,
HCO PL 18 Jan 1965: Financial Management Building Fund Account
OEC Vol 3, p. 42: The primary purpose is to provide a cushion by which an organization which is becoming insolvent may be salvaged. The secondary purpose of the Building Fund is to purchase property, but when this is done, the purchase must be for cash or, if any mortgage is involved, all further payments than the initial payment must be made from expense sum.
Finally,
OEC Vol 3, p. 247: HCO PL 28 Jan 1965: How to Maintain Credit Standing and Solvency
The secret to solvency is:
1. Make a lot of money.
2. Spend less than you make.
3. Make it before you spend it.
4. Gather bit by bit a cushion of cash to fall back on and don’t ever fall back on it.
5. Keep your credit excellent as a second cushion.
6. Refuse to spend reserves
Etc.
These basic LRH policy letters on finance plus the many others contained in Volume 3, give a perfect roadmap for expanding any org, whether the local org in your local sphere or the upper level orgs in Int’l Management. Clearly there is an abandonment of LRH finance policy, witnessed by the Ideal Org fund raising program, which is off- policy and not to be found in any LRH policy. With off-policy as the current operating basis from COB, David Miscavige, I have no choice but to withdraw my allegiance to the Church of Scientology as I can no longer support anything but pure LRH.
To give one a little history. I found Scientology in 1984. I was living in Tyler, Texas and my sister-in-law had just been introduced to the subject and had done Life Repair. I could tell from talking to her on the phone that she was different. At that time, life had kicked me in the teeth enough times and I was looking for answers. I asked how much money I needed and I was told around $2,500. I was a single woman at the time, teaching school and had no resources. I went around to 3 banks, asking for an unsecured loan and when they all turned me down, I then lied and said I needed money for my daughter who needed health care. That was the magic ticket and I left with a loan for $3,000, getting just a little extra in case I wanted to do a course.
I purchased the Dianetics book and then I took off for Dallas to the Mission of the Southwest, there on Mandeville Road, off Central Expressway.
I paid for Life Repair and cleared words while in session, as I had no prior information about this subject. My life turned on a dime, and I handled a long-term situation with my father. I was really happy for the first time.
I returned to Tyler, taught school and one day while mowing my lawn, I decided that I wanted to go Clear. I called my ex sister-in-law (we had both since divorced the boys) and I moved in with her, quit teaching, had no idea where I’d work or what I’d do, but I knew I wanted to go Clear.
Shortly thereafter I joined staff and was the PCS in Div. 6 for a 2-1/2 year contract. During that time we had highest ever statistics with new public and the org was booming.
Not to bore anyone with the full story, suffice it to say, that I have worked totally in an environment with fellow Scientologist since 1984, and have been dedicated and very engaged in my Church.
In 1987, I regged Jay Proctor for staff as well as my 2D and from that point forward, we both loved and used LRH policy to navigate our marriage and the raising of our son, who was delivered by standard LRH birthing policies in our home with a mid-wife. In October 2009, Jay dropped his body, with a full LRH Last C/S, surrounded by OTs. We applied LRH tech to our everyday life.
LRH tech was the glue for our life, as there is no situation that we were unable to handle using the tech. In the 1980’s – early 1990’s, it was fun being a Scientologist and a staff member, even though we worked very long hours. We had community activities, we played the Birthday Game for blood, we had great parties at the org on Friday nights, both public and staff included. We had church picnics and a real sense of family.
In 2001, shortly after September 11th, my mother dropped her body and my OT levels had been paid for some time. I arrived at AOLA and began, going straight through from R6EW to OT V, completing in September 2002.
All along the way, I saw more and more outpoints. And now, to see our church be so off the rails with regards to finance policy deeply saddens me. LRH provided all of us with this beautiful tech, and it is being misapplied by Chairman of the Board, David Miscavige.
This is unconscionable for me.
Whether any of these outpoints are true for you, you have to determine that. But, outside of the Ideal Org program, here are some additional outpoints I began to observe:
1. For many years, at major events, none of the usual Int’l Management Executives shared the stage with COB as they formerly had been. They used to be part of every program.
2. There is a distinct upper strata structure that LRH laid out to provide checks and balances within the organization, which would include these International Executives. Where are they?
3. Has RTC (Religious Technology Center), Church of Scientology Int’l (CSI) and Church of Spiritual Technology (CST) been un-mocked and collapsed? Is David Miscavige chairing them all? http://www.savescientology.com/
4. Heber Jentzch, the President of the Church of Scientology. Where is he? He had not been seen in many years, and he has to be nearing 75 years in age. He didn’t die, so where is he?
5. Saint Hill-size orgs were popular in the 1990’s which provided for orgs to build their staff and public ranks to the size of Saint Hill Org in the UK. ASHO in Los Angeles achieved this status for a brief segment in time in the late 90’s. What happened with this program? And why was it disbanded?
6. I noticed there aren’t Class VIII auditors produced as before? Why?
7. I was at Flag in the mid 90’s and at that time, there were several Class XII auditors that LRH trained. I can’t find any of them now. Where are they?
If any of this has resonated in any way with you, please check for yourself some of the key stats in your local org. Observe them for yourself on the OIC board – which is the stat board that HCO keeps posted in plain view or should.
1. NNCF – New Names to Central Files. These come from Books sold to new people or new people arriving for first service at a mission or org.
2. BIS – Bodies in the shop. This would be of interest with regards to both Division 6 (new people) as well as Division 2 (returning public).
Observe for yourself and if these stats are up trending in your org? And if the #’s are sufficient for viability?
To ensure survival, LRH finance policy must be applied and applied standardly. This means monies come from a well-oiled operational org that delivers services in such abundance, making more money than the org can waste. These abundances are channeled into the Reserves Accounts and the Building Fund account.
Then when repairs are needed for everyday operations OR a new phase of expansion, which could include renovations to the existing structure or a new structure, the monies are available, as there has been complete adherence to proper finance policy along the way, thus ensuring the infrastructure is in place to facilitate the expansion. LRH gave us the tech and the road map to ensure stability both in terms of monies, structure, staff and public. When followed, true expansion occurs and all is stable.
However, the caveat is that orgs take orders from International Management. Now, that is a single individual – David Miscavige.
Please “Look, don’t listen”. Whether your reality is similar to mine or light-years different – from this point forward, I invite you to look closer. Check out things further – allow no carte blanche acceptance.
In no way am I discrediting all the wonderful Scientologists, both staff and public that I have come to know along the way — some incredibly lovely people that I love dearly, including the staff members who devote their lives to this cause.
But under the current leader, we have lost LRH’s Church to “Miscavige’s Church”. It is no longer the LRH that we once knew and loved, and therefore, I cannot continue to show support.
Recently, on national television, Tommy Davis, the Church’s spokesperson, said that it was false that the church’s policy was that you had to give up your friends if you chose to leave the church.
You now have that choice. I will always keep my comm lines open to any of you who wish to call me that cherished word, friend.
My decision is made. Please respect and grant beingness. It is my wish that each of us flourish and prosper. That is my plan, and I will be moving along with the correct application of the LRH conditions to achieve that.
My name is Edie Fields and I got into Scientology in 1989, read Dianetics, joined the SO for awhile, left, went back and routed out. My experiences were good. I stayed with OT’s in their apartment. I worked at the Hibiscus restaurant and got rave reviews on my service to the OT’s. I started getting homesick and wanting to leave and the people I waited on wanted me back on the floor, waiting on them. The public. So nice. They wrote dispatches to my senior and said “whatever Edie needs, we will help her.”
I did get out and then found out about the COS in St. Louis, MO. My home was 418 miles away and I knew I wanted to stay close to learn how to operate in life. Did my TR’s and Obj there and knew I had to live close by.
Later, my daughter, Meshell, bought me four intensives and helped me when I decided to join staff. Matt Hanses and Chad Lane both helped me so I could see my ailing parents once a month. I took courses to be a word clearer and loved the job but wasn’t sure of what a read was in relationship to a body movement when doing Method Two. So I wrote up myself a cram. That went well except the last drill and nobody had enough time to do the last drill with me, so it is still setting there.
I decided I would be at Reception and I loved it. I got my granddaughter, 13, to start donating her time because I wanted her in a group like this for her survival.
Later I was asked if I would like the post of Extension Course Supervisor and I was told it would be a few months and I could take over the post. This was done so another staff member could go do training at an upper org, still okay with me. I also had fun with that post and got to meet many people who were on their extension courses.
THEN… my daughter and her husband found out about the evil at the top of management and called me over and told me what they had found. They then sent in a letter of their findings and wanted them to be addressed. Guess what????? You don’t communicate in the COS. You get punished for “Being there and Communicating”.
After the letter Jim and Meshell sent in, I was called into the DSA’s office and told by the Ethics officer and the DSA that I would have to disconnect or I would not be welcome in the church. My job was taken away and I was told to read the things that are supposedly called “Suppressive Acts”. Now, can anyone say they have never committed a suppressive act? I don’t think so. So my job was taken over by someone else and I was more or less told to go home or go on course to do the PTS/SP course. I was to see how my daughter was an SP. If not, I was not allowed to have my job.
My daughter has helped me all through life and even helped get us to Saint Louis. She even left her three year old son, Travis, 418 miles away to be on staff at St. Louis, being told that it was the greatest good. By the way, she started a mission in Fort Smith Ark and we had the okay to run it. We had a course room, book selling and we were growing then someone set fire to our establishment. The fire was set only because there was a garage next to it and they wanted all the mechanic tools in it. So that is the reason we all moved to MO. We wanted to continue to help mankind. We still want to.
Money being made for beautiful buildings and what is being done now is disgraceful to the tenets of LRH. LRH’s tech is being changed and DM has set himself up as god now. Changing policy all along and even the Basics. Redoing what LRH put down for us to survive with.
Too bad that LRH had to be improved upon.
Meshell raised her family in the Scientology precepts and taught her son how to do conditions and spent a lot of money and time on him. I’m speaking of Jeremy Powers who now has been made to disconnect if he wants to keep his job and girlfriend.
I could go on and on of how Meshell, Jim and Heather has contributed to our org but to what avail. They are being slandered with lies to be made to look bad.
So are all, who have been declared. Not as LRH would have done.

This report is being written mainly from Jim & Meshell, but it includes Heather Powers from a reality perspective.
Jim and Meshell have been in Scientology since November 1988 (coming up on 22 years). Meshell served on staff for 5 of those years, first holding the post of HAS then being promoted the senior executive post of Flag Banking Officer (right before it became an SO post). Meshell has had auditing up to and including Grade 0, as well as FPRD basic and 1D list, not to mention a lot of security checking! Meshell has had a lot of admin training, including a few mini hats, OEC Vol 0, Financial Planning Member Full Hat and M9 word clearing the entire finance series. Meshell implemented the entire Treasury/INCOMM program in the early 90’s after the Church was awarded the tax exemption. Jim has been mainly public, finishing his SH and ObJ and a lot of volunteer activities with CCHR & other 4thD campaigns. He tried to be staff a few times, however just couldn’t swing it, due to financial obligations.
Over the past few years we have had points of strange disagreements and things that just didn’t make sense. Including, but not limited to direct policy violations and circumstances that just didn’t make sense. We’ve commonly just dubbed in what we thought “must” be the case.
We know that truth has an unbelievable way of as-is’ing things – and that is what has happened for us. Years of things that have never made sense to us, now make sense! After doing extensive research, here are some things we’ve found. But first, here are some key LRH quotes we want to note:
LRH, HCO PL 18 May 1970 Data Series 7 Familiarity ….“Most errors in observation are made because one has no ideal for the scene or no familiarity with it. However there are other error sources. ‘Being reasonable’ is the chief offender. People dub in a missing piece of a sequence, for instance, instead of seeing that it IS missing. A false datum is imagined to exist because a sequence is wrong or has a missing step. It is horrifying to behold how easily people buy dub-in. This is because an illogical sequence is uncomfortable. To relieve discomfort they distort their own observation by not-ising the outpoint and concluding something else.”
LRHTape: The Genus of ScientologyAnatomy of the Human Mind Congress31 Dec 1960…“We own a tremendous amount of property. We own a tremendous amount of material, and so forth. And it keeps growing. But that’s not important. When buildings get important to us, for God’s sake, some of you born revolutionists, will you please blow up central headquarters? If someone had put some H.E. [high explosives] under the Vatican long ago, Catholicism might still be going. Don’t get interested in real estate. Don’t get interested in the masses of buildings, because that’s not important.”
HCO PL 23 Sept 1970Quarters, Policy Regarding – Historical …“In twenty years an enormous amount of experience has been gained regarding the quarters and housing of orgs. From this experience there are only a few clear-cut lessons. These follow:
A. VIABILITY of the org… is the first and foremost consideration… not how posh or what repute or what image.
…Example: Stockholm took very posh, fancy quarters. Up to that time it has been viable. The overload of expense rapidly upset the salary sum, the staff began to moonlight (work on other jobs), and the org all but collapsed until cheaper quarters were found.
Example: Phoenix 1955. A beautiful, big building at small expense was found. It was very prominent… the full reserves of the org went into furnishing these quarters. The area had to be abandoned, losing all reserves.
Elizabeth, New Jersey, 1950. The shabby quarters there made lots of money. Beautiful country quarters were under survey for purchase. The psychiatric block… began action [in the area] to invoke a law against medical schools. If the better quarters had been purchased, they would have been lost.
…CONCLUSION: Viability of economics must not exceed the income of the org. The SAFE figure for rent and mortgage payments must not exceed 15 percent to 17 percent of the gross income of the org.
…C. Image is a secondary consideration.
Example: Hotel Reycar Alicante Spain was relatively cheap. It was quite posh. Students complained as it cost a bit more than they were willing to pay. Image in this case worked against the org.
Example: Johannesburg’s three old buildings foolishly sold and the money squandered has yet to attain the income it made in its “old, horrible quarters” despite its newer image.
… An org which adventures more than 15 percent of its current gross income for rent or purchase payments can get into far more serious trouble than an org with a poor building image.”– LRH
This above is what LRH said in 1966 and again, different wording, in 1970.
Something we find odd is that over the past 6 years we have witnessed “size & beauty of new buildings” become a major focus of “command intention” in almost all Scientology events and publications.
These days, the biggest push is on “real estate” as in “ideal orgs” and not “Scientology services”. COB regularly offers up dimensions of new ideal org course rooms and HGCs, their color schemes, and the architectural style of the exterior. Look at the last event magazine and count the pages.
However, different friends in the field, who have been in many of the “Ideal Orgs”, are reporting back that they are notfull of public, nor are they viable. Due to the lack of viable income, the utility costs alone are draining their budgets. We venture to believe that their public field “donated” the bulk of their money on the new building leaving little for their Bridge, except the small & inexpensive book courses. This further hinders a viable income on a weekly basis for the org.
For years, the term “donation” referred to payments made by the public for org services—training and processing.
LRH The Auditor #51, 1970 What Your Donations Buy….“So little by little, using donations you give us for your service, your training and your processing, we create little by little areas of sanity.”
HCO PL 24 February 1964, Issue II Org Programming…“If the org slumps… don’t engage in ‘fund-raising’ or ‘selling postcards’ or borrowing money. Just make more income with Scientology. It’s a sign of very poor management to seek extraordinary solutions for finance outside Scientology. It has always failed. For orgs as for pcs ‘Solve It With Scientology’. Every time I myself have sought to solve financial or personnel in other ways than Scientology I have lost out. So I can tell you from experience that org solvency lies in More Scientology, not patented combs or fund-raising barbeques.”-LRH
Within the last decade or so, the term “donation” has come to refer to straight contributions independent of any services exchanged by the church. This is oddly out-exchange, but worse, public are being drained of resources that would otherwise be used for training & processing (the reason orgs exist)! Examples: IAS donations, Ideal Org donations, Library Project donations, Building Project donations, and Super Power Expansion Project donations. This is not what LRH said to do; he said, “solve finance with more Scientology”, per the references above.
We started with these quotes and pure LRH because we wanted to set the scene for what we have come to discover. The following information shocked us, but in addition to this we have discovered a plethora of mind curdling information.
HCO PL 15 MARCH 1977 RA, Data Series 41 RA, Evaluation, The Situation …..“Now any time you find thirty people on staff being removed because they were suppressive, you know they had the wrong Why, because the percentages are wrong. It’s just as mathematical as that. If they’ve done that then I can also assure you they’ve left the suppressive on the staff and I can also assure you the guy that did it was suppressive.”
We found information documenting that 37 of the 50 staff members from the last org that LRH personally ran (St Hill) have been declared “suppressive persons” and removed from Scientology by our current management, David Miscavige. LRH says 2 ½ percent of the population is suppressive, but according to these numbers, 74% are. Not only that, but some executives think that 2 ½ percent of any group of beings are suppressive! I.E. 2 ½ percent of OTVIII’s, 2 ½ percent of all class XII’s etc. Look at this list – these were some of the first clears ever made!

If you think that is a long list, you should see the list of Sea Org staff that have been declared who worked “up lines” at International Mgmt Base (the Elite of the Elite!). That list is hundreds long. It’s estimated that roughly 60% of those who have ever worked there have been declared. That’s a LOT more than 2 1/2%. It seems it didn’t matter whether these staff blew or routed out, either way they were declared.
It becomes stranger when you take into consideration the fact that Sea Org members who are cleared to go to the International Base are already the “best of the best.” Meaning, they have to have:
A proven record of meaningful accomplishment and positive contributions as a Scientologist.
Have an I.Q. in the genius band.
Have an ethics record that is squeaky clean, i.e., no history of any sexual perversions.
No drug reversion.
No psychiatric history of any kind.
No connections to anyone in the military, government, psychology or the media.
No unhandled PTS situation.
Willing to dedicate their lives to the expansion of Scientology.
No government security clearance.
At least one year experience as a Sea Org member with a good production record.
Special training reserved just for Int Base staff members.
History of case gain and case in good shape.
And with all that, some 60% still turned out to be raving SPs? We find this to be odd!
The following list becomes powerfully meaningful when you realize that it contains many high profile, very high ranking and respected veteran Sea Org members. Also listed are many upstat and prominent OTs and highly trained auditors! Most are veteran Scientologists of over 20 years and many have donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to the Ideal Org fund raising campaigns and to the IAS. This list was taken from a list of 1000s that have been declared suppressive by the current church leadership. Notable here is that the ex-wife (Karen De La Carriere/Jentzsch) of the President of the Church of Scientology International, as appointed personally by LRH, Heber Jentzxch, has not yet been declared, but she publicly walked away on June 29, 2010. Make no mistake about it, she is a high profile LRH trained Class XII auditor and C/S who is a highly respected Scn Veteran. Her story is powerful. No doubt, she’ll be declared for publicly walking away.

(And, while we’re at it – us old timers remember the President of the Church of Scientology, Heber Jentzch. Where is he? Course, we just found out where he is, as his ex-wife just walked away yesterday!
LRH says…..”You should upgrade your idea of what an SP is. Man, meet one sometime! A real one! A real monster…. Well, in all the time we’ve been around here we only had one SP that I know of. One real SP that was on staff…. And I don’t know of another single SP that we’ve ever had on staff. Isn’t that interesting. You see all these SP orders and so on… Don’t throw it around carelessly, because this is an–a very exaggerated condition, SP.” LRH, “About Rhodesia,” lecture, 19 July 1966, Saint Hill Special Briefing Course tape transcripts, Lecture Set 421-434, pp. 223-224
For months, we have been researching and have discovered that most of these people are whistleblowers! Some were declared for wanting to leave, but, shocking as it was, most were declared for speaking out against blatant out-tech, off-policy and the current management. The question to ask is why. Why would dedicated Scientologists, who are OT’s & professional auditors with 20, 30 & 40+ years just decide to leave or speak out against the church? Are we to really believe that after all these decades of training and processing – or being trusted in the most elite management positions in our church – that they have suddenly turned into SP’s and now want to destroy Scientology? We’ve heard some say that people can just “key-in” and start being an SP, however we assume they would also be acting suppressive? Yes? Have more of the 12 anti-social characteristics? We needed to know WHY they left and what they are whistle-blowing about.
Before going on, LRH says in The Creed of the Church of Scientology … “That all men have inalienable rights to conceive, choose, assist or support their own organizations, churches and governments; That all men have inalienable rights to think freely, to talk freely, to write freely their own opinions and to counter or utter or write upon the opinions of others”
We have now discovered WHY the Church doesn’t want us reading or watching anything dubbed as “anti” Scientology on the internet. We were told that there is danger in running into upper level confidential information – while we’re sure that it’s out there, we never ran into ANY of it in our research, not once. However, much to our horror and without a doubt, we found out that it’s because the Church’s own crimes are being exposed by high profile, highly respected veteran international management people, as well as an extraordinary amount of OTs – again, upstat Scientologists who have donated 100’s of thousands of dollars to Ideal Orgs and the IAS.
We have found that people who are discovering this information and speaking of or having doubts about continuing to support and condone the Church, as it’s currently being managed – who aren’t “handling” with OSA dead agent material and actions – are being declared as suppressive persons – almost immediately. So either they stop with their doubts or get declared!
An SP Declare is mostly been issued as a way to silence the parishioner and as internal damage control to ensure that other Scientologists are forbidden to communicate with the person. In this way, even valid criticism is contained and not allowed to spread to other Scientologists.
Our Church, at least on the face, supports the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Article 19 which says “Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers”.
Declaring someone a suppressive person for exercising his Human Rights and acting according to the Church’s own Creed is hypocritical at best.
Why we started researching….
This whole thing started when we watched the CNN’s Anderson Cooper’s week long segments called “Scientology: A History of Violence”, and watched it a few more times online. As unbelievable as this accusation sounds, we actually watched it because our own church spokesperson and others from our church were also on the show. We wanted to see what in the world “we” were being accused of this time, and see how we defended it.
On the show, we saw fairly recent, high ranking veteran Ex-International Management Sea Org members, like ex-CO OSA INT (former church spokesperson for 25 years), Inspector General for Ethics RTC (in RTC for decades), and others of equal magnitude who were accusing David Miscavige of unthinkable crimes, and how the church is ripping families to pieces with injustice – using our disconnection policy. – Truthfully, we were leaning toward this being preposterous until we heard our own church’s attorney and our current church spokesperson, Tommy Davis, completely & utterly lie about our church policy regarding disconnection. He and the attorney very believably lied, saying the church has no policy of enforcing disconnection. To say the least, we were stunned to hear this lie and felt there was too much credibility to completely ignore it. Paul Haggis, a very prominent 35-yr Scientologist (film producer) sent a letter to CNN saying “If they lie about this, what else are they lying about?”
We then began an exhaustive research of the people who were whistle-blowing. We then read the stories of hundreds of people. We did NOT go to “anti-scientology” sites, or it should be said that we did not find anything of any value. We found that the site called Scientology Cult was not an “anti-scientology” site at all. It had copies of KRs that were routed by people who ended up declared and much more. It is a giant expose’ site, with a couple of contributors that might still be ARCX’d but in general, that site is used by whistle blowers trying to get “us” to wake up! Like I said, only a FULL examination of almost the entire site would one be able to come to a full conclusion. We didn’t read just one or two things and make this life changing decision.
We watched their videos, read what they AND the church had to say in the expose The Truth Rundown (published by the “St. Petersburg Times) which contained very interesting historical information and facts, as well as fair coverage of what our church’s side is to the whole thing. There were a lot of video interviews of ex-CMOI and WDC upper-management-type people. These interviews stunned us and we have no doubt these people are not lying. There is a lot of data in just that location that we evaluated.
We continued our research and began reading doubt formulas of Veteran New OTVIIIs and highly detailed KRs written by extremely upstat and high level Scientologists – we were deeply troubled about what was going on in the church.
We went to a wordpress blog site called Moving On Up A Little Higher and read the hundreds of posts and especially all the comments. Lisa Hamilton, a 22-yr veteran, Senior HAS PAC, also posted her reasons for having left with her husband, who turns out is “the” Mark Hamilton of ASHO course room of 30 years. Larry Anderson was the guy narrating the Orientation Film, and Amy Scobee was the face of CC Int for years. These are people who dedicated their entire LIVES to Scientology to end up being “raving SPs” that the church has to vehemently destroy with character assassinations. The church’s stance is that Scientology has only started expanding since these folks are all gone, however, we have seen peaks in expansion over our 22 years and so far, that is not a valid observation, too short term.
We discovered there is a movement of prominent Scientologists around the world who are demanding that “we” wake up! Most of these people have been walking away since 2004 and they are NOT trying to harm Scientology, these folks are applying KSW1 and they have come to a realization that there is no longer a way for this situation to be handled from within the church as it’s currently being managed. These people, from around the world, want this exposed so we have a chance to fix it before it’s too late. These stories aligned with many of our own observations and experiences and things that made no sense to us.
We have always been told that these people on the internet were just outright SPs. After hearing their stories we were not able to come to that conclusion. They are trying to expose the abhorrent abuses and widespread human rights violations within our own church (mostly at the highest levels) and open our eyes to the alternations of tech and policy that have been occurring. As we said, after exhaustive research, including reading the church’s Freedom magazine that tells the Church’s side of it, we have concluded that the abuses did occur and that they were and are extensive and widespread. We’ve seen evidence of abusive use of ethics (rapidly declaring people SPs who speak out), thereby destroying families which in fact puts the church actively involved in creating their own worst enemies, and taking very little responsibility in remedying these wrongs. It’s sad to say that we believe the Church is lying and cover up.
This is a list of thing, that over the years we have personally tried to make sense of, when actually they literally don’t make any sense at all. Some of them we consider to be just out right suppressive to the true growth of Scientology.
1. If it’s absolutely vital that we get 10,000 people auditing on OTVII – then why is the pricing of Scn out of reach for the majority of the population?
2. In the early 70’s the cost of ALL the OT levels (if purchased in a package) was $2500 – today it will likely cost you around $500,000 when all is said and done.
3. We hear it’s because Scn is for “the able” – however, I don’t think one can judge ability by someone’s bank account. Some of the biggest SPs on the planet are very wealthy.
4. Most org staff are seen as some of the most able on the planet – yet, if they are no longer on staff and not making enough to pay the exorbitant amounts of money for the bridge, we suppose that means they are no longer the “able” we want up at the top of the bridge.
5. In the 70’s orgs and missions were bursting at the seams. LRH went off the lines and reports went to him that David Mayo was an SP (even though he was LRH’s personal auditor) – Mayo was declared SP and gotten off the lines. Orgs should have grown even bigger after the slump there, however they did not grow. Then just 3-4 years after LRH passed on, with David Miscavige fully in control at the helm, orgs have continued to shrink over the long term since then.
6. We are told Scn is expanding. Are we to honestly believe that our org is the only org that has NOT really grown in 20 years? The stats at STL are NOT on an uptrend over the past 20 years at all. In fact, at best, the stats have been emergency since the 70’s, with some stats, like GI being in danger and non e.
7. We have the ONLY workable admin tech on the planet, yet why isn’t it working on expanding our orgs?
8. Staff are the lowest paid and hardest working people on the planet. LRH never intended that. In SA LRH says flourish and prosper, survive in abundance! However, pay is so low, in all orgs, that to recruit a large staff of competent people (and keep them) is impossible because you’re asking them to come on board below the poverty level where the majority of the new recruits won’t be able to afford to buy groceries…..and it’s not changed in 20 years. (In fact, we made more back 15 years than is made now).
9. Very young adults (teenagers) seem to fit the bill well. These children are expected to be “instant adults” and are called “thetans” when in fact, it’s not likely they remember the wisdom of their very last life and therefore lack the wisdom of adults. These young adults have a hard time controlling their own determinism, lacking KRC with life. However, they are easy to indoctrinate into a way of thinking they should do all they do “for the cause” for free, and even if it costs them money to be there.
10. The Sea Org cherry picks local org staff! When they recruit from staff, they claim to “replace” them with new recruits. However, a lot of times the replacements are not viable replacements. If this game is so important and the orgs are so vital, why is it okay for them to cherry pick staff from lower orgs, leaving orgs struggling to always to get hatted up again. We find this suppressive.
11. It’s also completely suppressive to recruit teenagers (heck anyone for that matter) into the SO and then deem them no longer qualified to be on staff, anywhere – if they end up leaving SO in the first year. This is completely suppressive and we are horribly reasonable to not see it.
12. In the SO if you get pregnant, you are off loaded and given your freeloader bill. Back in the days LRH was around, if an SO member got pregnant they would be sent out to work at a Class V org until their children turned 6 years old. Now, they are simply off loaded, given a free loaders bill and told they are not allowed to work in any orgs. More resources, to clear the planet, down the drain. Suppressive!
13. Flag coming to class V orgs and regging org public to go to Flag to get their grades, training and do basics in addition to the flag only things…..they say they have perfect auditors and perfectly applied tech….making it feel like you are getting substandard service from your org. However, when the GAT came out it was touted to create perfect auditors every time…..was that a lie? Doesn’t this rob the org of their paying public?
14. The org is bringing in 10’s of thousands of dollars a week for “Ideal Org” donations and yet can’t make enough money selling Scientology to pay the staff or mortgage. Are we really this “reasonable”???? Remember the definition at the start of this letter?
We have seen information that we feel you should see as well. You need to evaluate the situation yourself to at least be able to understand why we are standing up, head held high with our personal integrity and applying KSW1.
LRH discovered methodologies that can enhance self-determinism, increase freedom of choice, and bring about higher states of awareness and beingness to those who practice them. He developed a method of confession that includes unconditional forgiveness and results in more able, happy and peaceful beings. He developed an ethics system that an individual can apply to himself to improve his worth to himself and to his fellows. He established a form of organizational policy that is predicated on rewarding accomplishment rather than punishing failure. He set forth many of the fundamental values of Scientology and its organizations in the Creed of the Church of Scientology, The Code of Honor, and the Credo of a True Group Member.
Scientology is valuable to the many when studied and practiced in a sane environment. To allow it to be destroyed by the driven greed of one, would be to condone a travesty. We fully believe that Scientology practiced in accordance with LRH’s Code of a Scientologist, Credo of a True Group Member, and the Creed of the Church can contribute something vital to society.
We don’t believe David Miscavige is totally bad, nor is he totally good. He is not above the law nor should he be above the Scientology Justice System. However, he seems to be just that.
Along with other whistle-blowers, we believe that it is the greatest good for the greatest number of dynamics that David Miscavige step down from his position as the leader and that steps are taken to reform the church of Scientology so it reflects the values that LRH had for his church.
We implore you to answer the question: If Scientology has indeed been taken over by a suppressive person, is there any way to remove that person from power, using Scientology policies, without oneself being declared suppressive?
We cannot, in good conscience, ignore the voices of our fellow Scientologists, including but limited to, Marty Rathbun, Geir Isene, Mike Rinder, Amy Scobee, Jeff Hawkins, Mary-Jo Leavitt, Lisa Hamilton, Tom De Vocht, Sherry Katz, Christie Colbran, Paul Haggis, Mark Hamilton, Karen De La Carriere/Jentzsch (her ex-husband, and father of her child is the President of the Church of Scientology, appointed personally by LRH) and Larry Anderson and many others – we have made our decision – we can no longer condone or support the Church of Scientology as it’s currently managed. We hope that the Church of Scientology will get its ethics in and make the changes necessary for it to be a church we can once fully support. LRH’s Scientology!
We believe that everyone who stands up will make it that much easier for others to do so. Believe us, others standing up before us have made it more real for us to take our stand. We could not live with the idea that we were too scared or bullied into hiding our god given rights to be here and communicate. Especially when it is the right thing to do!
In keeping with LRH and the true tech, we have decided that if we fail to apply KSW1 now, we will lose Scientology forever. Along with this, it is our full and absolute belief that we, Scientologists, will not be able to effect a change from within. It is too late. The planet has no chance if the church is not reformed and put back on track with full LRH policy. David Miscavige’s rendition of the Church of Scientology is NOT LRH’s Scientology.
Courageously, we, as a family are issuing this open letter to the church announcing our intention to stand up for the true tech of LRH and letting you know that we will are leaving. We’re sickened that this has to be done! However, we are not going to be controlled by “fear” of our own Church either. Labels don’t make one “suppressive”, it only stops others from communicating
We know there are other prominently known Scientologists willing to pay the price of freedom out there – church public, staff and management will not be able to ignore us! It’s soon to be too obvious that we are not ALL suppressives.
We are Scientologists, completely!
We are only disavowing the current management of the Church of Scientology, which we consider suppressive, and realizing we cannot effect a change from within, are standing up on the outside.
We are sadly reporting to you that we have researched the following chilling factors and have satisfactorily concluded, for ourselves, that this information is in fact true. At first we thought this was completely preposterous – and so will you – however, if you love Scientology you will not resort to letting someone else evaluate and make judgments for you with regards to whether the following facts are true or not! Please research this on your on to conclude.
We want you to know that what you’re about to read is hard punching and very hard to conceive of as true. Confront of evil is not easy. However ugly, we have done months of extensive research, from many sources and believe beyond a shadow of a doubt that these things are true and happening. We pray our DSA and Execs will look completely at the other side and decide for themselves, as we did.
Take a moment and consider something. The whistle-blowers we researched were not declared and then tossed out; they were only labeled suppressive AFTER they left. Strange, most of them were good enough for the highest levels of upper management for 20-40 years, and then after they left it was discovered they were raving SPs trying to destroy Scientology. Are you sure this makes sense? Being “reasonable”?
ONE – Scientology has been taken over by a self-appointed dictator, David Miscavige, who has turned the Creed of the Church of Scientology, the Code of a Scientologist, and the Credo of a True Group Member on their heads and instituted the virtual practice of Reverse (Black) Dianetics. Those who have attempted to put ethics in on him from within have been ruined, personally, by him. (Please remember, we have investigated this allegation and have completely satisfied ourselves that, as sickening as it is, we found it to be true.)
TWO – In his quest to attain power, Miscavige forcibly removed no less than four LRH appointed executives, senior to himself, and dozens of Scientologists who had created scores of huge, effective Scientology centers. He used threat of force and violence in clearing the path to control of all Scientology orgs and assumed the self-created position of Chairman of the Board. He was never assigned by LRH and holds a position that was not created by LRH.
THREE – Since securing his position of power, the stats of Scientology have steadily decreased despite his public proclamations to the contrary. Go out and look, don’t listen.
FOUR – He has conducted a campaign to fortify his personal power by denigrating and depowering anyone who personally knew and worked with LRH. That includes, but is not limited to, the members of LRH’s family. The operation served to consolidate his personal power.
FIVE – He accomplished his coup by commandeering the only line of communication to LRH during the last five years of his life, plying LRH with embellished and false reports of a dangerous environment to keep him out of comm with Sea Org members and his family. The reports falsely accused LRH’s family and lifelong friends of selling out to the enemy and telling him that orgs had been infiltrated by psychiatric and government interests. He prevented true reports from reaching LRH in order to make his actions appear necessary and on policy and to solidify his position. (again, remember, we have investigated this allegation and have completely satisfied ourselves that, as sickening as it is, we found it to be true. All we can say is if you spend the same time examining the same information, you are likely to come to the same conclusion, the evidence is staggering once you look objectively).
SIX – He has persuaded those at the top of Scientology that to disclose the secrets of his unconscionable acts would harm the religion and violate “the greatest good for the greatest number of dynamics.” Thus, the truth of what goes on behind the façade of false PR that he creates is hidden from the vast majority of staff, SO and the general public.
SEVEN – He uses confessions of Scientology managers to invalidate, castigate, and embarrass them into silence.
EIGHT – Sea Org members who voice or even hint at any hesitation to carrying on with his tyranny or supporting his actions, are sometimes physically and commonly mentally abused. (ugh, we have investigated this allegation and have completely satisfied ourselves that, as sickening as it is, we found it to be true.)
NINE – Those Sea Org members who have attempted to correct his off-policy and out-tech actions have been subjected to belittlement, invalidation and false propaganda. They have also been silenced through imprisonment of sorts, mental & physical duress. (we wish we had not found this to be true). I know it’s out R, but if you’re not willing to look, how could you blindly say it isn’t so?
TEN – He has given little interest and funds for defending public relations attacks on LRH. Conversely, when his abuses come under scrutiny by the media or on the Internet he spares no money in attempting to destroy the reputations and lives of anyone with the temerity to discuss his conduct.
ELEVEN - He has created a multi-hundred million dollar slush fund called the IAS. For twenty-five years it has collected inestimable funds from Scientologists under false pretenses. The IAS has used scare tactics to extract “donations” to “save” the Church from attacks. Meanwhile, he prohibited the IAS from disbursing funds to handle most of those attacks. On numerous occasions, he and the IAS have given Scientology public the false impression the IAS was spending tens of millions to sponsor “dissemination campaigns,” while in fact they were only funding a few ads for a very limited run, until the next campaign was devised. Conversely, the IAS has disbursed exorbitant amounts for his personal vacations – including many Caribbean diving trips and a five star tour of Scotland. (We have investigated this allegation and have completely satisfied ourselves that, as sickening as it is, we found it to be true.)
TWELVE - Miscavige has turned the top end of the Bridge into a dead end:
First, he has (against LRH original policy)programmed the AOs, including the FSO, to regularly sec check pre-OTs (calling it “refreshers”), adding unnecessary cost to the level, and then use their confessions to coerce them into paying more money for atonement, a practice not unlike the Medieval Catholic Church selling indulgences.
Second, he has imposed an unwritten code of behavior amongst OTs. They are regularly made to conform to correct dress, language, political thought, and even ideas as to how to use their personal time. Said practice is anathema to the very purpose of Scientology, which is to make a person more his- or herself, more insouciant and independent thinking.
Third, he has entered arbitrary “contribution as a Scientologist” requirements mid-levels which can be satisfied by making cash “donations.”
Fourth, he requires pre-OTs to attend his regular events and they are treated as ethics bait until they enthusiastically embrace his projected public image. This enforced acceptance of falsehood makes attainment of OT technically impossible. Thus, Scientology, as practiced in Miscavige’s orgs, is auditing one toward conformity, solidity, lies; in other words, down the tone scale, or, the precise opposite direction to the intended aim of auditing. (We’ve seen extensive evidence of this).
THIRTEEN – His “Ideal Org” strategy has wasted hundreds of millions of dollars of Scientologists’ donations to forward an entirely off-policy action. LRH’s Ideal Org policy letter says nothing about building posh quarters. A plethora of LRH Policy condemns his method of building an org. Subsidies, particularly those extracted from the public under pressure; to build posh quarters, are strictly forbidden by LRH policy. LRH advised that orgs be built from the bottom up with the elbow grease of local Scientologists, flanked by international management, broad public promotion campaigns and growing their quarters only as they expand their delivery and income. Miscavige has hoodwinked Scientology public with the equivalent of a Ponzi scheme, shuttling staff around the world to pose at new “Ideal Org” openings for photo ops, many of whom are then shuttled off to some other org or soon leave for lack of pay. Regardless of the poshness of their quarters, his orgs are doomed to failure because he has for years forcibly prevented Scientology management from: 1) implementing LRH advised pricing formulas to make Scientology affordable to working people, 2) implementing org finance systems that encourage orgs to survive and expand, and 3) implementing staff pay systems that make it viable for upstats to work on staff. (This is gross, and quite evident!)
FOURTEEN – His use of the technology of suppression to impose suppression rather than to accomplish its original opposite purpose, has suppressed countless Scientologists and divided many families. He has perverted the practice of disconnection from a voluntary tool one may use to improve one’s life, into a mandatory control mechanism. He uses the practice to suppress the free flow of vital, truthful information and to keep individuals toeing the line through threat of losing their loved ones, rather than as a tool to depower actual suppression.
FIFTEEN – His arbitrary policy that makes conceiving a child a crime warranting offload from the Sea Org, is contrary to LRH policy. It has also spawned a situation that has required countless women to obtain abortions.
SIXTEEN – He has co-opted Scientology’s multi-million dollar audio/visual production facility and its several hundred Golden Era Productions staff for the purpose of forwarding his own image and power through Scientology events. He has cross ordered hundreds of LRH advised dissemination films and marketing campaigns. This is done under the guise of the importance of international events, yet such events are proscribed by LRH policy. Millions of dollars are spent on these events in order to showcase him to further secure his power.
SEVENTEEN – He puts on international events that intentionally misrepresent the true state of Scientology. Statistics are manipulated and falsified, video scenes are created that are palmed off as reality and campaigns are routinely unveiled with great fanfare but exist only for the purpose of being announced at the event. The manipulation of truth is skilled and extensive and designed for the purpose of making Miscavige look good. Scientologists wonder at the incredible figures presented on the number of new people coming into Scientology every second, minute, day, week, year, or the incredible reach of people being contacted or the vast numbers of officials and Opinion Leaders who fully support Scientology — yet their local church organizations show no sign of this massive and unrelenting growth. Scientologists who retain enough sanity to spot the contrary facts must suppress such rational thoughts for those who complain are subject to heavy ethics and, if they persist in expressing doubts, expulsion. (Please remember, we have investigated this allegation and have completely satisfied ourselves that, as sickening as it is, we found it to be true.)
EIGHTEEN - He has personally enriched himself, living a far more lavish lifestyle than LRH ever lived, though LRH had earned his fortune through his own writings. Miscavige has (by the standards of the SO) lavish living quarters in various cities complete with chefs and maids, owns or is provided expensive cars and motorcycles, flies exclusively in private jets, has his hairdresser and chiropractor travel around the world with him. Hereceives compensation that is far, far in excess of any other person on Scientology staff. (We haven’t verified yet, but someone said through the FOIA, it was seen he makes over $100K a year compared to an SO member at the highest being paid $2600/year).
NINETEEN - He has enforced an unwritten policy within the Church that his word has become more important than the words of the Founder. Church staff routinely follow his dictates even if they seem to be directly at odds with LRH policy. His utterances are recorded and transcribed and distributed to staff. He changes the technology of LRH under the guise of “getting it on Source” and using hidden data lines about what LRH wanted. (As we said, we researched this accusation and satisfied ourselves to its truth).
TWENTY - Many veteran Sea Org members have been RPF’d, “imprisoned”, hit and declared by him for having the temerity to object to his cross ordering LRH policy. (Again, remember, we have investigated this allegation and have completely satisfied ourselves that, as sickening as it is, we found it to be true.)
TWENTY-ONE - He spent over seventy million dollars in Scientologists’ donations for an office building for himself and his personal support staff. He constantly altered orders for the building during construction, many times to upgrade material and finishes to the most expensive available, then ordering the removal and destruction of what had been originally installed. Such profligate spending is contrary to countless finance policies of LRH, who was always extremely frugal in the spending of Church donations. This was reported by several different people.
TWENTY-TWO - He has created orgs that are the reverse of the islands of succor that LRH built during his life and directed be duplicated in his written policies. Prior to Miscavige’s Scientology, orgs were lively, creative, safe spaces where people congregated to share their spiritual experiences. Orgs are now places to avoid for fear of falling victim to crush regging and heavy ethics. (When was the last time us public really felt welcome to just come in and hang around visiting with friends?)
These things are threatening the Church of Scientology and if we don’t step up, and face evil, we will lose it forever.
In closing, we want to again mention that truth as-ises things. So much by-passed charge is gone! Years of things that have never made sense to us, now make sense! Again, labels don’t make one “suppressive”, it only stops others from communicating. In fact, these days, being labeled as an SP by the current management is meaningless – as we have already lost LRH’s Scientology to criminal and corrupt activities.
By now I know you’ve been told some rumors about me and my wife’s standing with the Church and our activities. They’re pretty much all lies.
We haven’t attacked the church, we haven’t been declared, we’ve not joined any squirrel group nor have we gotten audited by anyone outside the Church.
All we have done has been to research and gather data that had to do with the history of Scientology, the upper management of the Church and its real statistics.
I’ve always been a Scientologist all my life and always will be. A Scientologist is someone who uses Scientology in his life to better himself and help others. We will not do anything else but that.
Although, as a result of the data we’ve thoroughly studied, investigated and evaluated, we can no longer associate ourselves with the current management of the Church.
Here is a little story about my life in Scientology and what led up to this conclusion. I took the liberty of putting a few quotes from LRH in the event that you might think that by reading this you might be engaging in some wrongdoing… so let’s hear what the “old man” has to say about that.
Love,
Tiziano Lugli
The Creed Of The Church Of Scientology states:
“We of the Church believe: – LRH
That all men have inalienable rights to their own religious practices and their performance;
That all men have inalienable rights to conceive, choose, assist or support their own organizations, churches and governments;
That all men have inalienable rights to think freely, to talk freely, to write freely their own opinions and to counter or utter or write upon the opinions of others;
And that no agency less than God has the power to suspend or set aside these rights, overtly or covertly.”
Human Rights
The Church of Scientology is a strong advocate of Human Rights. Number 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights states:
“Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers.”
From Dianetics 55
“Examining the whole subject of communication one discovers that there are very few people around him in this day and age who are actively communicating, and there are a lot of people who think they are communicating who are not.”… – LRH
“For a very great many years I asked this question, “To communicate, or not to communicate?” If one got himself into such thorough trouble by communicating, then, of course, one should stop communicating. But this is not the case. If one gets himself into trouble by communicating, he should further communicate. More communication, not less, is the answer, and I consider this riddle solved after a quarter-century of investigation and pondering.”
Who wrote HCOB 10 Sept 83 “PTS-ness and Disconnection”?
The following is public record: Robert Vaughn Young was a member of the Church of Scientology for a period of 20 years (1969-1989), he had worked in many areas within the organization including the highest management echelons.
‘IN THE UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT FOR THE DISTRICT OF COLORADO – Civil Action No. 95-K-2143: Declaration of Robert Vaughn Young in Support of Defendant’s Opposition to the Motion of Bridge Publications, Inc. for Summary Judgment Against all Defendants for Copyright Infringement. Subscribed and sworn to before me this day of February, 1997, Robert Vaughn Young.’
Section 29 of this affidavit reads:
“I have personal knowledge that material was written and issued under the name of L. Ron Hubbard that he did not author. While working at ASI, I personally wrote material to be issued under his name for several years. This ranged from simple messages to be sent to various organizational staff on events such as his birthday or a holiday, to my composing an entire large directive that was issued under his name. In these instances, they were done without his knowledge or consent. The directive that I wrote concerned the Scientology policy of ‘Disconnection’. The order to do this came from David Miscavige. Miscavige said that we had to reinstitute the Policy of Disconnection and that I was to write the policy for this. I wrote it and it went through several revisions. It was not sent to Hubbard for his approval, but was issued into the Church of Scientology. I might note that at the time I was not working for the Church of Scientology, but was working for a for-profit corporation.”
In 1978 I was looking for a new body to dwell, and knowing that all Thetans are basically Italians, I thought that a Fashion model and a Singer/Musician in the Sea Org in Milano would make for a perfect family.
My parents, now OT VIII and OT VII, pioneered Scientology in the 70s, opening orgs all over Italy, then after ‘82 they continued their journey as very successful fashion designers. They have been the personal designers for David Miscavige for almost 2 decades, as well as the designers of many org uniforms, such as for RTC, the Exec Strata, etc. I recall letters back and forth every year from DM and Shelly, then all of a sudden it was only DM…I kept asking myself “has anyone seen Shelly in the last 2 years?”
My brother was recruited to the Sea Org in the late 90s and signed as an auditor, yet he was resigned to 10 years of work in Treasury, Regging, Recruiting, etc. before he was finally routed onto the TTC. I remember one time he had to be rushed back to Italy in 2004 when we found out he had almost lost his leg, because his knee required surgery years before, but FLAG was trying to handle it with assists only. At that point, he had had to wait 2 months to get back in shape physically enough to have his body ready for surgery. His conditions were obviously of someone under heavy “stress”. The flap caused from all this eventually resulted in him being put on the TIP for Class VI. Strangely enough he had to get it bad to do what he signed up for.
When I was 6 years old my mother decided to “introduce me” to Scientology and told me about The Bridge… with a sigh of relief I thought, “Thank god someone already did all the work so I wouldn’t have the burden of the pain to find the path on my own.”
Soon after this, I told my mom something about my being Clear, including the cognition that goes with it. Strangely enough I always knew I was Clear; my certainty was inexplicable.
I had a big purpose to train and go up The Bridge, and I want to profusely thank my parents for their unwavering support in helping me have a childhood centered around that purpose. I wouldn’t have had it any other way.
From 6 to 12 years old, I did the basic courses, Purif, Objectives, ARC Straightwire, Grade 0, and onto Student Hat, Pro TRs, the E-Meter course (before the Pro Metering Course) and M1. Throughout this time, I continued to originate to my auditors and C/Ses that I was Clear.
After 2 “Not Clear R-Factors” I finally attested to CLEAR at FLAG in Aug of 1991. Little did I know that this was a cycle that would be dragged on for the next 20 years!
Once I was finally acknowledged as Clear, I dedicated the next decade to training and volunteer production. I did Level 0, PTS/SP, LOC [KTL wasn’t translated into Italian] and almost all of the OT Hatting courses on the Freewinds. I used to love the Ship, I went there about a dozen times and I often acted as an Interpreter/translator for the expanding Italian field that would go to FSSO for conventions.
I always wanted to train, so I thought that doing work for the Translations Unit would be a good idea to kill two birds with one stone. I spent a few years working every weekend for hours and hours translating nonstop, resulting in more than 1,000 pages of LRH’s material translated. (This earned me some good training awards for many of my OT Hatting Courses on the Ship and for my SHSBC I would start in 2008.)
In 2001, after my first “engramic” Clear experience of the late 80s, I went back to Flag to start my OT Preps. I had gathered enough money for 3 intensives, and my main goal was to do the FPRD and soon after the OT Levels.
The first action I did was a Clear Check Cycle. I found out my first CCRD Auditor had been declared SP for having been out-2D with his PCs and other stuff such as coaxing EPs and Cogs. Though I had nothing to do with any of these things, I was nevertheless C/Sed for a nasty tailor-made Sec Check. I threw out the incompetent auditor they gave me and had Natalie Bouquet (at the time Galbiati). After that, they reviewed my CCRD and asked for further data which I gave and I was then forced to attest to an amazing new discovered state on DM’s Grade Chart: The State of Clear Certified.
I told the examiner I didn’t want to attest to a state I had already attested to previously but I gave up after I was intimidated with the fact that the whole line would get hit severely with some kind of downstat if I didn’t attest. So I did. Clear in 91, and Re-Cleared Clear in 2001. I was clearly Crystal Clear of my Clear cycle and so was Flag apparently, so I began my preps, the FPRD, which was in short phenomenal. I literally finished every remaining session of the 3 intensives with Floating TAs, and Natalie was at the time stellar. Lack of money forced me to stop the cycle short of a dozen questions on the form. Already beyond any gain I would have thought achievable on that step, I came back to Italy to make more money to buy my expensive freedom.
At the time I was working in a company owned by on OT VII who was mid auditing on the level. She gave me her word that if I would get the statistics of the business to a certain high level, I would get the money for my Solo to OT III package as a bonus, in exchange. Having achieved way more than what was expected in less time required, working Int Base SO-style hours, she then denied the entire agreement that was made and so…bye bye OT Levels for now.
Curiously enough that OT VII soon after made it to New OT VIII. As a side note, I always wondered why her husband (my uncle) paralyzed half of his body in a stroke soon after he attested to OT VIII, and on top of that I had personal knowledge of a half a dozen of other Italian OT VIIIs that died in recent years, one with a newly found out AIDS condition and another old friend OT V which had a severe irreversible stroke while on the Ship the last few years. I was always kind of baffled about this. All these OT VIIIs dropping dead? They’re the ones who are supposed to go free!
I left that company soon after (obviously as an enemy of the group and everything that goes with working in a company of “Scientologists” which is allegedly using LRH’s tech and WISE channels) and a breakthrough in my music career occurred.
I signed a major deal with Warner Music in Italy, and immediately got to work on my debut album and wrapping up my single release.
While in my recording studio the phone rang; Gold required me to be the official voice talent for LRH’s PDC Lectures (76 lectures given in Philadelphia in 1952). I had the fortune of listening to them 5 times already (still one of my favorite works of all time) and with my voice and translating skills I was the only apparent candidate for such a job. Having refused would have been a disaster for DM’s impossible event targets and the simultaneous multi-language release.
In a few days, after numerous and extensive Sec-Checks to make sure my ethical level was “high enough” to go to The Base I was booked on a plane for an undetermined time to complete the lengthy job. One of the security questions that would have disqualified me for this work was if I had ever had any gay experience or thought of any kind or was ever inclined towards a desire in that direction… I was told that it would be disastrous to be doing LRH’s voice and have anything to do with being gay.
The Int Base
At the end of March 2003 I arrived at the super secret location in Hemet, CA, near the San Jacinto mountains and Palm Springs, about 60 miles east of LA. I was greeted as a VIP, after a little paperwork they took me to the recording studio lounge; a very peaceful and nestled environment. I was in a room with a nice baby grand Yamaha, which I played as I usually do at every chance I have when I’m near a piano. I felt very much at home.
They took me to my sleeping quarters which were very cozy and pretty upscale. I was by myself and was treated close to a celebrity at the time. Within days they began shifting me to different locations, 3 times total. First in a room which was kind of dumpy, then in a room with someone else. In the end I was sleeping in a dirty room with barely any furniture, with two bunk beds and 3 other guys. I recall one weird night to my bewilderment seeing Heber Jentz, the President of the Church of Scientology International himself, sharing a double room next to me.
Due to my production level I was able to get some staff to do my laundry at least, which was regarded as some kind of a privilege after all that work. Most of us were public (non staff) and were working an average of 16 to 18 hours a day. I would sleep for about 4-5 hours, and maybe run around the block of the Vista Apartments (to wake up), then go back and finish my production.
We were loaded in buses and taken to the base. At the gate all of our names had to be confirmed with the guards. Once IN, we were not supposed to go ANYWHERE. We were like guarded prisoners. Most of us would just stay to ourselves, but I always liked walking and exploring, so I would walk around the area, get caught, and sent back to either the Audio building or the Tavern (where public used to eat). I used to sneak out to the Audio building when they were preparing the booth, transferring the Hard Disks, etc., to go to the Qual Building which was just to the left of the Audio and I would study and look at some of the material that was not HCOBs or PLs or any of that, but were all clearly marked “NOT TO LEAVE THE BASE” yet writings of LRH, that to my amazement would never see the light of day—and the amount of those volumes were so numerous so as to equal the entire body of PLs and HCOBs written. I used to be able to stay there a little bit, and then get called for it… My thirst for knowledge and truth has always been pretty strong.
I recall one time during the night, it must have been around 3 am, where panic arose around the building and the I/C and others were running around trying to make sure everything looked perfect and getting everybody to look extra busy. I was just taking a break after my 5th lecture in a row that day (which was more production than any of the other Voice Over Talents) and I did not agree to go back and sit down and act like I was reading something. I heard Birdie (a really nice girl that was staff there at the time) saying to another staff “It’s code Red.” That chaos turned out to be self-explanatory when I saw COB walking with Shelly and Lou outside, towards the CMO building right below Audio (the famous SP Hall). Still I was amazed at the frantic reaction and the environment that was created just by having DM and his crew walk nearby.
The out-points I’ve witnessed myself while at the base could make up for a whole chapter in and of itself, but as far as my PDC mission was concerned, I delivered the product in record time for the multiple language release at the event. On several occasions I would come across “curious” translation mistakes, sometimes completely the opposite of what LRH was saying in the recording. I would make corrections but they would come back rejected and ordered to be re-recorded incorrectly. I firmly opposed any justified or unjustified alteration of Source, and always recorded only what was LRH.
Besides the average 16 hours a day work schedule, the last 3 days I had to stay up for 3 days and 3 nights in a row, with no sleep whatsoever, in order to finish everything and I still delivered LRH’s lectures at my best. I would take random breaks during that time and the staff gave me a tip to stay up (as if they knew the matter cold): to run and run around the building to “wake up”. So that was exactly what I did, plus I had all the coffee and tea I could drink.
Before I left to go back to Italy I received a nice commendation from ED Int. and training awards for the value of 2 Academy courses. At the time I couldn’t care less, I just wanted to leave ASAP.
As soon as I came back from the Int Base, my record was released and it was pretty successful over the next 2 years. I was able to come out with 3 singles, 1 album, and perform in concerts with 20 and 50 thousand people and do shows on TV that would be seen by millions of Italians. I soon decided to take my career to the next level and I wanted to play a bigger game, so I moved to Los Angeles where I had lived for a couple of years while in my teens.
CC INT
I started working with numerous celebrities in LA and I would have them collaborate with me for my US release as well. My Org was CC Int. I had the pleasure to study in the “famous” Room 303 Celebrity course room. I did the New PTS/SP course, the New Pro Metering and then went to AO to finish my Solo to get onto the OT Levels.
In 2005 I found a public I really liked and eventually got married, but I soon realized it was a wrong choice. I was then coaxed to do a handling at CC to either end it or fix it. The out-tech, enturbulation, evaluation and invalidation, force and “cherry on top reg’ing” that occurred throughout that hell would make for a long story in and of itself. I got divorced anyway and continued with my life.
I met someone else soon after, and with the 2D doubts I had experienced with a failed marriage, I decided to take it slow and not be exclusive, as she had suggested herself. It took no time to enlighten her on Scientology and take her to CC for some services. The Basics had just come out, and beyond my disagreement on the whole subject, I always got outraged with the crush reg’ing and that whole ridiculous “cycle of library donations.”
I told her as my selectee, to steer away from any regging of the Basics, because I first wanted her to get gains through auditing, and since money was an issue, processing was definitely more of a priority than MEST on her bookshelf when I had all the materials myself. That was not taken lightly by CC’s staff, and adding some charge created by the mutually agreed non commitment, I became the obvious target for hell to come down on me. I was escorted out of the 303 course room, never to be able to go back in again and turned into an ethics particle. Completely false KRs portraying me as vicious SP were written by several staff members. In my outrage and disgust, I resorted to reporting everything to the President of CC Int and RTC directly.
Excerpt from the KR I WROTE about it:
I’ve been in Scientology all my life. Since a very young age I was raised with high moral ethical values. My parents are OT8 and 7. I’ve attested to Clear at a young age and I’ve been training a lot. I did my Student Hat when I was 8, Pro TRs, E-Meter Course soon after. I was auditing Method One at 12, I audited Lev 0 at 14 years old. In the last 2 years I’ve finished the PTS/SP Course and the SOLO Course at AO, mid the New Pro Metering to start the SHSBC right after, which I have half paid for already due to the more than 1,000 pages of translations I’ve done for the TU, and the PDC I’ve done the voice for which ED INT. personally Highly Commended me. I’ve been on the Freewinds 11 times, doing almost every OT Hatting course there is, plus PR-Wise-Artist conventions. I’m above a Sponsor as my IAS status. I’ve recruited many people for the SO, gotten a few dozen on The Bridge. Promoted consistently Scientology, and have been and are of great example of standard of ethics amongst all my friends, workers and professionals. I reached a high celebrity status in Italy as a performing artist under Warner Music and moved recently to LA to work with the biggest Producers and Songwriters in a revolutionary Worldwide release in an effort to change the sound and message of today’s downtone and abberrated music. And hereby I get accused from a low ranking staff member of having committed in BOLD – sexual perverted conduct – malicious rumor mongering to destroy the authority or repute of higher officers or the leading names of Scn or to safeguard a position – refusal to allow a public up the bridge – falsely degrading an auditor’s technical reputation [because I was telling her not to buy the Basics her auditor was trying to sell her] – and the WORST EVER – knowingly using Scientology to obtain sexual relations or restimulation.
I was outraged and highly disappointed at how CC INT has even allowed this kind of garbage to reach my lines. I personally wonder if any of this kind of LIES, mis-communication, alter-isness of data and slanderous remarks with SP and criminal accusation would have been written towards a celebrity of definite higher exposure, if this KR would have been just shredded, and maybe the terminal who wrote it, security checked for “What withhold has (name) missed on you?” Was I just considered “not celebrity enough?” Or someone didn’t do their job at CCInt? I would have expected ethics and President’s Office “protection” on such nonsense, heavy enturbulation and serious DEV-T.
After a month nothing happened, as if nobody received anything I wrote, besides delivering the hard-copies in person (though I yet received no formal acknowledgement or handling). I TR3ed the cycle and went directly to RTC. Apparently an investigation ensued and the people involved would eventually “get corrected.” However I had an off-policy Non-Enturbulation Order that never got actually issued but is still in my Ethics File because of that.
In 2008, I finally found who I would later marry, and my 2nd dynamic started looking great once and for all. CC Int then launched a slandering campaign against me and used all of those false KRs to persuade my girlfriend to leave me. Once she was staying at the Manor Hotel and I was forbidden by security to come in. RTC would eventually interfere and “handle.” (They told me everyone related to the issue was sec checked FPRD style, but I realized that was just a BS PR move because afterwards nothing was actually resolved and I saw everyone walking around as if nothing had happened, and they wouldn’t even look me in the eye).
Having had enough of CC Int, and being an AO public anyway, I went to AOLA to finish SOLO One and I routed onto the SHSBC at ASHO. I then managed to go to Flag with my now fiancé, both Clears and both mid-preps.
The Mecca of Technical Perversion
We landed at Flag in Nov 2008, the Mecca of Technical Perversion. For some weird reason I couldn’t start anything for 3 days. I then put RTC on the line, which got me in session straightaway. To my amazement (being towards the end of the FPRD form) I was thrown onto a tailor-made Sec-Check, FPRD-style as my first action. (I found out later that all the C/Sing was done based on these false KRs already acknowledged as false yet left in my folder.) My 2D finished her Preps, did L11 and I one-way flowed her through the Solo One Course. I struggled through the Sec-Check, getting any win I could out of the FPRD. I finally got through it and my next action was a Qual Consultant, who told me I wasn’t Clear. They even had a name for it by that point, the “NCRF”, Non Clear R-Factor.
Apoplectic with rage, I was forced into session 3 times in a row, each time with a nice red-tag EP. I went to RTC to rip her a new one and she told me to “trust her,” assuring me that the cycle would get handled.
I was then routed to the MAA as the next action because they couldn’t get my needle to float; their reasoning was that the tech was not going in, so therefore ethics must be out. Then after 3 days of review from the Snr C/S FLB, I receive the Reality Factor that the Non Clear R/Factor was suspended. (This now doesn’t mean I am Clear, but I’m not Not Clear, either.)
This launched a two-week never-ending, grinding-to-the-bone cycle with the worst Sec-Checks, invalidations, Auditor’s Code violations and force I had ever witnessed in Scientology, whereupon my fiancé and I left with the Senior C/S OK to leave hand-in-hand with the Deputy Senior C/S saying I was blowing, just to add more confusion.
I picked up the Clear cycle at AOLA, then got my folders sent uplines for review. In the meantime my 2D was in the middle of OT Eleg. She finished her Sec-Check in 6 hours and yet the cycle continued for 10 months without end and without a Yes or No for the OT Levels. She was told right in the beginning that if she would have donated an additional 2 library packages (this is on top of the 25 she had already donated while on the Ship) that she would have been auditing on OT I in two days. The extortion didn’t bite, and her folders eventually got sent to Flag for review, as well as the Senior C/S WUS (Western United States) which acknowledged that a ton of arbitraries were added on the cycle. These arbitraries continued, so we decided to fly back to the Mecca of Imperfection for her final “Maybe OK” on the Eligibility for the OT Levels. That should have taken a few days and after 10 days of not a Yes and not a No, we had to leave for work. At that point I got another Non Enturbulation Order, never issued but dwelling on top of the other in my Ethics File, only because I stressed that we had to go back for work.
Back To AO
At the beginning of 2005 my 2D had joined Scientology, and only 4 years later had achieved the State of Clear, gotten all her family on the Bridge, and was a Patron With Honors, plus she had donated 25 Basic Libraries, was a fast student, committed on Artists For Human Rights and a successful working actress – and yet for no reason whatsoever she received a tip for her Eligibility to do the Class IV internship, redo the PTS/SP Course and to continue with her contribution (donations).
From November 2008 to April 2009, my folders went back and forth without any results save for more sec-checks only. Finally, they were sent to Int and came back saying that “all that I got was not correct, and that my next step was a sec-check.” Before my mind began to dwell on ballistics experiments, I counted to ten. I requested, as calmly as possible, WHO exactly at Int C/Sed my folder, but to no avail.
With both my 2D and I pretty much on our last straw, I focused on the BC. However, I blew as I recognized that the Church was acting completely contrary to everything I was studying by LRH, and all the Out Tech I was put under. The feeling of lost hope and shredded freedom surrounding us was pretty tough.
The Truth Rundown
At the end of the summer of 2009, my 2D and I discarded all suppression and we flourished and prospered. We soon headed off to Capri, Italy to get married.
My parents had to raise hell to get my brother (now a Class VII at Flag) to come to the wedding and be my Best Man. His wife didn’t get the ok. After he arrived, he looked pale, close to a corpse about to go to the coroner’s office, and my parents got really worried once again.
A few weeks prior to that my brother had called my parents and told them to read the Freedom Magazine dead-agent stuff regarding what was occurring in the media. My parents were totally unaware of anything (living 6000 miles away from FLAG.) They started reading it online, and as anyone who has got any brains, after reading the article it had created more vacuums than filled it with facts. So they began searching for all of the “other stuff,” to find out the identities of KingPin, Fact-Checker and ConMan.
Although my parents were aware of everything already at our wedding, they did not tell us anything at all or prompt us to “look.”
My brother stayed in Italy with my parents for a bit longer and gave interviews to public to send them to Flag. During this time, my mother got him to do medical exams which were showing his condition to be very poor and dangerous; the doctor told him that he had only seen terminal patients look like that. My parents really became worried and asked my brother about the general situation of the Church they had now discovered, but he would not say anything and would immediately and heavily key-in if they mentioned anything about beatings or corrupting the tech. He stopped them by eventually saying that he “doesn’t care about what’s going on” and that his post is “to make Clears” and he’ll go on doing just that no matter what. That was the end of that, for they would not push it further anymore.
My brother eventually returned to the base where he reported my father “went on the internet.” Apparently this is a very high crime for people especially up the Bridge to surf the internet, hence the Cavalry soon landed in Italy. Mike Sutter and Marion Pouw (working directly under DM without any via) arrived at my parents’ door unannounced ready for “the handling.” My parents listened and understood their position, but only pressed upon my brother’s health and the OT Levels for me and my wife. DM’s crew guaranteed they would take care of everything and left.
When we returned to LA, the Paul Haggis resignation letter hit the news, so I Googled it and landed on Marty Rathbun’s Blog. I slowly (and very missed-withholdy) started reading. I could not believe my eyes, but a lot of charge started blowing. As I continued a few mountains started lifting off of my back, and more and more, and some more.
I spent several of the following weeks researching and analyzing data from websites such as www.friendsoflrh.com, RediscoverScientology.com, The Truth Rundown at http://www.tampabay.com/specials/2009/reports/project/, Marty Rathbun’s blog, and numerous others. Knowing of all these testimonies from Top Executives from RTC, WDC and INT that had left, on top of the New OT VIIIs that had resigned, gave me a brand new look and understanding on the overall situation within the Church. FYI: none of these websites contain any ‘Upper Level’ or confidential materials.
Word got out on the streets that I was doing some research and I get called in to the MAA trying to dead-agent Marty Rathbun, Mike Rinder and everyone else and their mother, but I told him I didn’t really care. My folders were magically up lines once again now getting reviewed by Ray Mithoff himself. I didn’t really care at this point, because I knew anything I would get would not be 100% LRH, but a suppressed, distorted and altered tech, as I’ve been exposed to for the majority of my life. A month passes by and my wife doesn’t receive anything different from her Class IV tip, but we were now fully indoctrinated in the real history of the Church of Miscavology. It was an extensive research we conducted for the past 3 months for an average of 12 hours a day.
Without telling anyone, we decided to take the next step and went to see Marty Rathbun himself for the Look-Don’t-Listen Rundown.
The Golden Age Of Extortion, Threats and Defamation
DM’s crew were once again back to work, with PIs allegedly on our tail, they told our families that we had been to Texas and that pictures were taken of us and Marty. (We never saw anyone, and they never produced any photos). Suffice it to say they were probably just monitoring the flights in and out of Corpus Christie, Texas. DM’s stooges went full out culling… first my and my wife’s ethics files (with all of the false KRs included) and then gathered all PC folders and FPRD material and went to town “briefing” our family. They took my wife’s father who had been at Flag for a year and a half trying to get onto his OT Levels from R6EW, and they took him off of his OTII which he was in the middle of. Showed him all of our “crimes” and from that point on he would not be allowed back on the Level until we would “conform” and do the A to E steps (as for an SP) or he would have to disconnect from his own daughter. DM’s Cavalry flew to LA to see her mother as well and her sister to continue the Defamation Rundown. In that session they even revealed to them case discoveries made on my folders by the Snr C/S Int, adding PC data on my Clear status, such as that I could never get a certain date straight. My wife’s family had to steer clear of us during Christmas so we spent Christmas on the East coast with other relatives. Her father eventually showed up only expressing a few good-roads and good-weather moments, and the whole disconnection attempt ended up creating a huge flap with her extended non Scientologist family. But that was just the beginning.
As Marty already predicted, DM’s full cavalry (Mike, Marion and the new “technical guy” Hansuli Stali) flew to Italy to disclose our travelling itinerary to my parents. Without even having a clue about what we did in Texas, they dumped a truck load of black PR about Marty portraying him as the biggest SP who had ever lived after Hitler, then presented my father with an encyclopedia of my crimes and false KRs regarding alleged sexual activities and PC folder stuff. All because we committed the biggest crimes in history: To Be There and To Communicate.
The Three RTC Stooges stayed in a hotel nearby on alert for ten days, monitoring us while we were trying to spend some theta time with my family and my daughter. My father agreed with them that the best thing would have been to “do the cycle” once we got back in LA.
Date coincident with all that was going on, Marty’s email address was hijacked and his blog hacked and deleted.
I was aware of their presence (The 3 Stooges) as Marty confirmed with me their whereabouts. I felt the coldness on my parents’ side at the time and I understood what they were going through. I pictured my mother being put in a position were she would soon be forced to choose which son she still would want to be connected with. A mother put in a such a position because one had the balls to disagree and had integrity to find out what was true for him, was a tough bullet to chew.
Tom Davis
We go back to LA on Jan 8th, 2010 and swing by CC Int the following night to meet with some people we know, and on our way out Tom Davis and his wife happen to swing by and his eyes catch mine. I see a cloud on Tom’s head as for what he was thinking in that moment, I would tell you but it would require too much censoring. He calls me the following evening and we meet with him and Jessica the next day. He is, besides being the international spokesperson for the Church of Scientology, someone I’ve known for a very long time and with whom I have some “history.” We discuss our intentions in regards to the Church and its activities and we communicate to both of them that in light of the facts we have thoroughly investigated, we have decided not to continue any Training or Processing within the current Management of the Church. In the discussion I mentioned that I knew, due to Marty’s counter intelligence and even fact-checked it later with my sources (which I have video recorded), that they had already started revealing confidential ethics and case information straight out of my PC and Ethics folders, to which they blatantly lied! They even told me that they knew what I did with Marty, apparently Marty attested me to Clear for them. They didn’t even dare to ask me once what we did in Texas, apparently they didn’t seem to care, for the fact of landing near Public Enemy Number One was already enough to obliterate our existence.
We then communicated that it would be smart for them to leave us alone and not continue any defamatory campaign, but to no avail.
A tale of conditional “friendship”
We met with a couple of people who were once “close friends” to say our goodbyes. We knew about their investment and financial ties with the Church and so we just wanted to say goodbye. We had no desire to really disconnect from anyone nor reveal our truths to them, so our conversations were pretty succinct though a bit heart-breaking.
Some did call, did meet and will never disconnect no matter what. Then, some like Michael Doven took the responsibility (I’m pretty sure it was not an easy task to do) to even go to the extent of calling my wife’s father (on the verge of disconnecting with his own daughter for good) and lying about Marty, saying that he was never an Auditor and never audited Tom Cruise. (Michael was Tom’s personal assistant for 15 years, and was sitting outside pretty much every session Marty personally delivered to Tom between 1998 to 2003).
Some of those that didn’t disconnect from our “evil suppression” are fortunately my parents. They received the call the next day from my brother at Flag, he had several OSA terminals with him monitoring the calls and dictating what to say. They even offered my parents and my 2D’s parents to go to Flag and get auditing for free, paid flight and accommodations… interesting isn’t it?
As we started receiving calls from the rest of our very close group of so-called friends, the FaceBook Enturbulator I/Cs were already on the move. The good old JoJo Zawawi teamed up with Brittany Sierra Garrett (old D/CO of AOLA and 2D of Javier Ruiz whom I personally helped extensively to get on his feet after he left the SO). They started an amazing rumormongering campaign against us with vicious lies given by Tom Davis regarding our standing which apparently is “We’re declared SPs attacking the Church joined with squirrel groups and trying to get upstat Scientologists to follow us.”
Their efforts were well supported by the FaceBook Italian Polizia, Ornella Dogini and Paola Lombardi. They took full responsibility to spread the false rumors to our Italian buddies, teamed up with special forces between Flag MAAs and Italian DSAs. Some were holding strong, but the stress kept growing by the hour, as people that did not disconnect (meaning still had me or my wife as a contact of theirs of FaceBook) were threatened to be declared Suppressive.
In less then one day my FaceBook friends went from 600 to 410. Friends we grew up with, known for a dozen years, people we considered family, guys we helped financially, people we connected with work opportunities, celebrities that became such due to our hard work and unconditional love, all CLICKed their mouse-pad and forever disconnected in their cyber world and in their minds…just-like-that.
Some did email or leave messages that they wanted to meet because of the rumors that were going around and they wanted to get the facts straight from us. That lasted for a couple of hours, as more then 160 people were personally reached in less then 2 days by OSA Int, AOLA MAAs, FLAG MAAs, CCInt President’s Office and many great ass-kisser volunteers. Just wondering if they were all wearing Yellow Shirts with some guy from Golden Era recording it for the next event? ;)
The majority of these people reached the highest highs of the CoS Bridge and STILL need a license to survive, they STILL have to get permission to talk. It is actually a very high commodity in the church and comes at a very high price: it’s called freedom and integrity. Self determinism, what’s that? They have sold their entire eternity to DM’s determinism…heard about “Command Intention” by any chance?
Find out who one’s friends REALLY are…a nice learning experience.
I Remember…
I remember when Scientology was fun…when Scientologists were actually UP TONE!
When staff members were eager to get on their post and produce the VFPs of their Hats, not to be turned into 24/7 All Hands Regging Particles.
I remember when CC Int used to be fun. When there were not cliques of celebs and big donors, not A-B-C-D listers. Where you would have a friendly environment where people were actual friends. When Tom Davis was an upstat, uptone, funny and energetic guy, when he used to hang out with us, and even go to the movies… with all of the new upcoming talents, small and big celebs alike, and I remember when Kirstie used to be skinny too, back when we were friends.
I remember when you knew that when you’d get off your O/Ws in sessions in an FPRD they wouldn’t use it against you in case you’d leave in the future.
I remember when going to the Freewinds and Flag was a peaceful, relaxing and pure theta experience.
I remember when the Fort Harrison was NOT a 5-star Hotel with alleged 5-star service, but was FULL all the time, instead of empty as it is now.
I remember when you could talk freely about the tech with friends, questions you had, share your wins and rely on your friends for advice without getting into “ethics trouble.”
I remember when it was all about OT phenomena and Theta wins and not just mere lousy MEST and money wins.
I remember waking up and wanting nothing else but to go on course, having the excitement to KNOW the next part on the checksheet, where pure understanding and application was the only goal of our Supervisors, not just a machine to shove you through a course in record time to show how DM’s new line-up is 10-times faster.
I remember when Scientology would actually raise your IQ and make you more able at challenging knowledge. When it made Lions out of people, not scared and wounded sheep.
I remember when you used to finish a drill and be really happy about it knowing that you REALLY got it, instead of already feeling invalidated because you would have to re-do it 5 more times by the Golden Age of Tech new checksheet.
I would dare ANYONE even after only a week of passing the test, to tell me 20 Tone Levels and their respective arbitrary number that goes with it, or how about the 13th Law of L&N, if you don’t really remember now ALL of the manifestations in order of a Misunderstood Word. I remember when full conceptual understanding was senior to verbatim patterns.
I remember when you could take some new friend who had a newly found admiration for you and interested in your wins, and you would tell them, “yeah, it’s Scientology” and they were able to come into the org, and meet upstat and uptone people, get greeted as Beings, not as a Div 6 Particle. They were able to walk in and out freely, without the Div 6 Regs overwhelming them and making them into nothing, so that they could at least sell them something, and have a fake statistic to report to their seniors.
I remember when Sea Org Members were there for the products they’d create, they were friendly…and that the stats wouldn’t be the goal, they would just be a by-product of their good work. When an SO member was not just another obstacle you’re trying to pass at an event or at a session/course break trying to reg you in every which way they could – buy this, the new books, the new lectures, come to the seminar where we’re gonna sell you something, there’s an IAS special briefing JUST for you, we gotta get you active on Human Rights, Criminon, Narconon, you gotta take a post in a mission – and when everything was said and done (and you were still broke) – do you qualify for the Sea Org? I need you to come see a special slide show…
The Church of Scientology we once knew is DEAD.
What was once lost can be found again, and what was once great can be greater…and we surely do come back.
At the top there is the biggest traitor of the freedom it proclaims it instills and with nearly a billion dollars in the bank, the torch of the IAS is now and forever dead.
In this church of conformity the pretense of “we disagree” remains just a lousy sales pitch to make the few rebels for freedom enslave themselves to the degree that they NEVER agreed.
Never “play” with your own integrity in the hope of some future freedom…it just never works out that way. Be TRUE to yourself, in EVERY step of the way…whichever way that is.
You can’t scream to calm somebody down. You can’t fight a war for peace. You can’t hate to preserve love and you cannot enslave the people if you’re trying to free beings.
Preface: When DM sent six people out to Denver (including Tommy and DM’s personal attorney Yingling) a year ago in an effort to silence Mike – an event I witnessed from start to finish – Mike made it crystal clear that he did not want his family subjected to the indignity of acting as pawns for DM in an effort to “handle” Mike. Like clockwork, the master of Black Dianetics launched a year-long ongoing campaign to use Mike’s family as something much worse (in my opinion) than pawns. Perhaps publication of this letter will help to bring about the cessation of DM’s relentless, sadist, familycidic (my made up term) behavior. – Marty
Dear Andrew, Taryn & Cathy,
You made a big issue out of my failure to respond to your letters, so I am responding herewith to the letters each of you sent.
I note that Jude sent me a letter when I was living in Denver – but didn’t send another in the second round after I moved near where she lives, and Benjamin didn’t send me a letter at all. I guess the Church is worried that I may respond in person by paying her or Benjamin a visit and it sort of blows the “You have disconnected from your family and refuse to communicate to them” line when I show up and they are unwilling to talk to me (as when I went to the Fort Harrison and requested to see Benjamin).
I also note your letters were coordinated, all coming from the address of the International Justice Chief. You put notes saying you want me to respond to that address because you are “following LRH policy.” How so? If I am an SP, my only terminal is IJC. No policy says IJC is your postal service. And if you are following what the Church now claims is LRH policy – then these letters are disconnection letters. Or are you trying to “handle” me and get yourself to gentle cause? Which is it? Handle or disconnect? Somehow you seem to be demanding that I communicate with you? But only if it is supervised? I really don’t know, what policy it is that you are applying?
I also respond here to the letters you sent to the St Petersburg Times. Those letters attempted to spin the encounter at the doctors into a “family dispute” that occurred because you just “happened” to see me driving into her parking lot (This story doesn’t quite square with “we are routing this from IJC as we are following LRH policy” – is this a family matter or a church matter?). Odd though that none of you mentioned the 4 people from “International Management” or the 2 PIs that accompanied you on this “family dispute resolution”? And you failed to mention that you had been following me for at least a day prior to showing up at the doctor’s office (Andrew, you said “I saw you yesterday and you looked terrible” – the only time I had left home that day was to ride my bike half a mile to the beach with Christie and Shane so I guess you were staked out next to the park in one of the SUVs with blacked out windows?). You also told the SP Times that you were here visiting Jude and Benjamin – yet you said to me twice “You have no idea what I had to go through to be able to talk to you, Mike.” And where were Benjamin and Jude if you were here visiting them and just happened to be out driving around? And why did you have two rental cars for you, Taryn and Cathy when neither Taryn nor Cathy drives?
But, like with everything in the church today, I do understand the position you are in and what you are required to do, and I bear you no ill will. In fact, Andrew and Taryn, as you will recall, I told you from the outset, and repeated a number of times, that I would happily talk to you without the screaming audience present.
And by the by Andrew, I guess you hadn’t experienced the raving madwoman insanity of Jenny Linson before. I challenge you to honestly ask yourself: “Is this really one of the most senior executives in Scientology?” Yes, unfortunately. But in truth she is just a wind-up doll that spouts the words that David Miscavige tells her to scream and is otherwise incapable of original thought. That is why she is one of his most trusted pit bulls he sends out to make a fool of herself and Scientology on CNN and then again when she led the screaming in the “family dispute resolution” (though I thank God she is not family).
Finally on the SP Times letters, it would be a good idea to remember the episode was recorded by the BBC. Don’t fall into the trap of lying on behalf of the church to the media. It never works out in the long run.
Sadly, I don’t believe you will read this letter, as it would be “spreading black PR” for you to see it. Possibly you will be shown some edited version. That’s why I put it on the internet so perhaps there is a chance that at least you Andrew can read the entire letter. You should.
If you had really intended for me to respond to your letters I would have suggested a different approach that didn’t include saying the following: “You are not even a Scientologist, so stop pretending.” “Maybe you should check out of this game and go sit on a rock for a few million years, way out of the way.” “Overwhelmed, implanted, evil-purp beings like you…” “We will continue to flourish and prosper despite your feeble efforts to make yourself, and the bunch of fruitcakes you hang out with, right.” “The American Psychiatric Association is in the phone book. Why don’t you give them a call. You are 95% in their camp by now anyway.” “Go contemplate at a rock for a long time and destimulate.” “You could not actually have a soul. It could only be rock solid blackness…” “You think you can fake out other people, taking advantage of the fact they don’t actually know you weren’t a Scientologist, having never studied or practiced the Religion you are now so viciously attacking.” “You continue to prove that you really don’t care about anyone and have no personal desires for betterment and never did.” And that’s just a few comments from 12 type-written pages of similar stuff. I take it you were following what someone told you was the way to “handle” SPs? Whoever it was gave you some really bad advice because it only served to make me more determined to do whatever is needed to end the insanity that has pervaded Scientology which includes turning family members against one another.
Your letters gave me the distinct impression that the only thing you would want to hear from me was “I am sorry I have been so stupid, I am reporting back to the bilges/Hole/tent on the golf course and I will write up steps A-E 5 times through” But, that isn’t going to happen, so why respond?
The foundation for that impression was the letter I received from Cathy when I reached out to her after I first left. I asked her to call me or come and visit. Her response, and I quote: “Fuck off. That is the last thing I would want to do. PS: I’ll send the divorce papers and brief the kids.” Cathy, what is it with the divorce? OSA lawyers put the papers together for you as the petitioner, I signed them, and they were filed and assigned a case number in Los Angeles Superior Court (BD476191) on Nov 19, 2007. It’s a formality to have an uncontested divorce with no mutual property and no child custody go through the court process. Yet, now, when it is convenient (i.e. in dealing with the media?) you claim you are still my wife, though you use some other name – Bernardini — neither your maiden nor earlier married names? What is this about? Based on your communication at the outset, the letters you have sent and your screaming tirades when you “happened to see me,” including your command to “stay away from Benjamin” I would hazard a guess that you don’t want to be married to me (nor by the way do I want to be married to you). Apparently you don’t even want to sully yourself by using my name. So, why scream “He is my husband” at the doctor? Did you (or OSA) do something to prevent your divorce petition from being finalized? Is this another good tactical move to combat “the SP”?
And while on this subject – Monique Yingling told the St Petersburg Times that I had refused to see you in Denver. She claimed that you were there to inform me about the situation with Benjamin and that I did not want to talk to you. Just so you know, and I have a recording of this meeting, she never told me you were in Denver and never told me there was any information I needed to know about Benjamin. And you didn’t try to call me, even though you reportedly flew to Denver to see me (I take it you weren’t there skiing?). Monique called me on my cell phone. Why didn’t you? You even have my email address – so does Linda Hamel and others in OSA. When Monique called me and said she was in town and wanted to see me, I arranged to see her. I would have done the same with you (though Tommy came all the way to Denver and stated he was there to see me too – but when I tried to call him to arrange a time and place, Monique wouldn’t let him talk to me).
So the record is clear, it was only after the 6 man team came to Denver to try and handle me and I told Monique she should go back to LA and deal with the rot that was destroying Scientology from within that you all decided to write to me. This was two years after I had left the SO. I had sent Xmas cards to everyone and the only person who responded was Barbara – until she too was told she could not communicate to me and sent me an “IJC” letter. Her cards and letters were nice, telling me I will always be her son regardless of anything and good roads, fair weather chat about dogs and kids and mundane matters. Mine were similar in response as I had no intention of creating any further upset for her. I was simply letting her know I was OK and wasn’t living in poverty under a bridge or dying of leukemia because I thought she would worry. I didn’t “suppress” her or give her a bunch of entheta. Andrew, I am sure you have seen those cards and letters by now – she even sent me photos of James and his wife and child, so proud to be a great-grandma. Barbara said she was too old to travel to the Freewinds or Flag again, so she had “nothing to lose” by communicating with me but was very worried that Andrew and Pat would find out. But that was too good to last – after all, her being in contact with me was “preventing her Bridge progress” – NOT – she told me she was on the Academy levels at the org and doing great auditing others, of course, she couldn’t do OT IX and X as they don’t exist. So, the letters that you then sent to me, along with the less than subtle effort to buy my silence by Monique, solidified my conviction that I could not ignore the destruction of Scientology at the hands of David Miscavige.
The problem is that none of you know what is really going on. You have been fed a lot of information that contains enough grains of truth to be believable, and yet is perverted to create a very false picture.
You have no doubt been given all sorts of DA packs and materials about me. Don’t you think it’s a little odd that there are such materials about everyone? Isn’t it starting to set off alarm bells that every person who ever speaks out about what they have seen has “confessions” about how terrible they were and how they were all trying to destroy COB? You’ve written similar things Cathy, I have seen them with my own eyes. They are only not used because you continue to toe the line. But your confessions are just like everyone else’s – you admit you have tried to impede and overworked poor COB because unless you do that you won’t get out of the trouble you are in. I did at least 10 “A through Es” during the time I was either CO CMO Int, WDC OSA, CO OSA Int or in the Hole (that is probably more than you have done, Cathy, but I know for certain you did at least two A-E write ups because you were an SP along with everyone else in the Hole and they admit to terrible crimes and intentions towards Miscavige and Scientology). Now, it is impossible that every single person in International Management is out to destroy David Miscavige and Scientology. But if you look in every person’s files, you will find the same sort of “confessions”. He proclaims loudly and repeatedly that this is the “op” of Int Management and nobody is going to get anywhere until they admit to it. There are ready made “confessions” to “D/A” every person at the Int Base. It’s designed that way. And no prizes for guessing what LRH says about someone who claims everyone else is an SP.
And just as an aside: Didn’t it ever strike you as just the tiniest bit strange that I was the International Church Spokesperson while I had been declared by David Miscavige, not once, but at least 5 times. And that I was doing this after those “confessions” that are published in Freedom Mag or handed out in D/A packs. I would come out of the Hole or the bilges or OGH or the lake at St Hill as a total SP (according to DM), put on a suit or tuxedo and be the church spokesman or a speaker at one of the phony Int events? Is that standard Scientology policy at work?
The majority of the sensational “entheta” about David Miscavige concerns his physical and mental abuse of people. I know that in the circumstances you are in, you will swear under oath that black is white in order to protect him and his acts. But Cathy, you have seen it. Don’t pretend you haven’t. You just believe it is acceptable behavior because of all the “wonderful things” he does. But those two data don’t add up – savior of Scientology and vicious tyrant. And if it really is OK in your mind that he acts the way he does – why is everyone lying about it? Why not come out and say “Yes, he does beat people and he mentally abuses them, but we all think it is OK because he does so much good for Scientology”. Don’t kid yourself that it is just because “wogs” wouldn’t understand how it is the greatest good for the greatest number of dynamics. No, 97.5% of Scientologists would be horrified if the church admitted the truth and the flow of funds would dry up. That’s DM’s dirty little secret. Scientology is supposed to be about the truth. Not covering up what goes on behind closed doors. That internal rot is a symptom of the decay of the church because it no longer represents truth.
Taryn, I don’t know for a fact if you have personally witnessed Miscavige wailing on someone, but if not, I am sure you have heard from plenty of people who have seen Gary Wiese being hit by him, and probably also Guillaume, Heber, Yager, Mithoff. Henning Benndorf saw it hundreds of times and Miscavige told Henning to hit people on his behalf. Henning was in SFX a lot. When I asked you whether it was OK for Miscavige to hit people, your response to me was “I never saw him hit you.” Probably true. But it was not a response to the question I asked.
Andrew, I know you haven’t seen this sort of insane behavior. Nor have you witnessed the mental abuse. You know I was in the bilges for more than a month with Guillaume, Heber and Yager at the same time Barb was on the Ship completing OT VIII. I had to be kept out of her sight in case it enturbulated her. When she attested, I was brought out of the bilges for an hour to get cleaned up and sit with her in the Heritage restaurant while someone stood guard at the door to ensure I didn’t do something funny. It’s odd, I was so happy for her, but it was such a strange situation, it was difficult to not let my true feelings (“What the fuck is happening here?”) show through. But that’s the weird shit that goes on. You can ask Barb about it. I am sure she will remember. I had people go ahead of me to ensure she wasn’t in any passageway if I ever went out of the bilges. I know she thought it odd that I had been on the ship for a month after MV and she hadn’t seen me.
But honestly, Miscavige’s insane treatment of SO members isn’t the most major departure from the ideal scene. It is just a manifestation of his aberration and the true crimes that he is engaged in.
I asked you Andrew if you knew what inurement was. Hopefully by now you have had the good sense to look it up. Miscavige is guilty a hundred times over. And that could bring about the demise of the Church. He knows it, but he thinks he is above the law (as well as policy) and can outsmart anyone. He can’t. But more importantly, he is in direct violation of very strict LRH policy. You have probably been convinced that “COB” deserves everything he has and more. Dozens of cars. Private jets. Lavish quarters. Expensive meals. Outrageous gifts. Cooks and maids and servants and typists and secretaries and chiropractors and hairdressers and makeup men. The problem is, LRH didn’t have that. And LRH made his money by writing his own books. DM hasn’t done anything other than illegally assumed control of the Church and is reaping the rewards, not of his work, but by taking what LRH created. The $1500 per day for a scuba boat to sit next to the Freewinds, the lavish meals and expensive cars are paid for by the donations of good Scientologists like you. Just one day of that $1500 per day boat charter would probably pay someone’s monthly mortgage that they took out in order to increase their IAS Honor Status. The money spent on having 4 PIs follow me full time would buy 2000 copies of Dianetics every day that could be handed out to people for free. Did LRH waste money like that? No way. And if you look at the article, What our Fees Buy you will see what he has to say about this.
You have been convinced that the Ideal Orgs strategy is a wonderful, on Source program. It isn’t. It is propaganda by redefinition of words. The LRH game for orgs was to expand beyond the size of Old St Hill and with that done get the staff to OT. You don’t hear about this anymore, and the Universe Corps is a faded memory. THAT was LRH. “Ideal Orgs” is DM. This is what LRH says about the subject:
” We own a tremendous amount of property. We own a tremendous amount of material, and so forth. And it keeps growing. But that’s not important. When buildings get important to us, for God’s sake, some of you born revolutionists, will you please blow up central headquarters. If someone had put some HE (high explosives) under the Vatican long ago, Catholicism might still be going. Don’t get interested in real estate. Don’t get interested in the masses of buildings, because that’s not important.
“What is important is how much service you can give the world and how much you can get done and how much better you can make things. These are important things. These are all that are important. A bank account never measured the worth of a man. His ability to help measured his worth and that’s all. A bank account can assist one to help but where it ceases to do that it becomes useless.” L. Ron Hubbard, 31 December 1960 lecture, The Genus of Dianetics and Scientology.
But even more important than this is the perversion of fundamental Scientology. PTS/SP tech is being squirreled with disconnection used as a means of controlling people rather than a last resort tool to help someone de-PTS and lead a happier life. It’s so bad, the Church spokesman doesn’t even know what to say any more – he says one time that there is no such thing as disconnection and then tries to go back on it and say it “isn’t enforced” and then tries to say it’s like the Catholic religion. I mean, guys, why not come out and say what really happens. There isn’t a Scientologist in the world that doesn’t know how it goes. If what is being done IS standard Scientology – why not just come out and admit it?
And there are many other examples, including 6 month sec checks on OT VII, redefining F/N’s, a training line up that makes robot auditors. You will, of course, reject this out of hand. But look at the long term international stats – they don’t lie. And I know they suck as I have been into many orgs in the last 6 months and every single one of them is empty. From London to NY to Tampa to Dallas to Brighton to Orlando to Miami to Denver to Kansas City. And I have received first hand reports from people who have been into numerous other orgs. And while the propaganda line is “new orgs opening” in truth it is only new buildings opening. There hasn’t been a new org opened in recent history.
Here are some articles I suggest you read. They won’t take you long. And if you can truly think for yourself then you can make up your own mind. But I would hazard a guess that you a) will never be informed that they even exist, b) if you do hear of them you will be told not to read them because they are all lies or c) you will reject them out of hand as you have already been conditioned to believe that the internet only contains entheta intended to destroy you and Scientology. But, just imagine if LRH had lived his life that way. Afraid to look or see because someone told him it was all bad. He would never have discovered the reactive mind. Or anything else for that matter. What happened to the idea that Scientology teaches you to find answers for yourself? Here are the urls for the articles. There are literally thousands of others written by all manner of people.
So, you now have a response and you can decide what you want to do. I am more than happy to communicate with you – any time you want. Though I am not willing to have the communication controlled by the Church. If you can’t have a comm cycle without being supervised by someone in the church then I don’t know what freedom you feel you have achieved.
And remember, it is so very easy to dismiss everything that is said that doesn’t match the party line because there is a built in justification: they’re an SP, they didn’t really make any case gain (even though they may have attested to every level including OT VIII), they are not really a Scientologist, it is just their own overts etc etc. Some won’t confront reality until it is “acceptable” – i.e. that enough others have decided that this is reality so it is OK to go along. They can’t “think for themselves” and observe what they see. But that is what Scientology teaches you. And if all you can do is think according to the dictates of others, you are not truly free. I hope you can look and not brush off the outpoints you observe. And start to think for yourselves. Don’t wait until it has become “fashionable” – that is not the manner of a real Scientologist.
I wish you all happiness. I know how hard it is to find inside the cocoon. It is inevitable DM’s house of cards built on a quicksand of lies will fall. It’s only a matter of time and how much more destruction occurs before his reign comes to an end.
